With the release of Ripplestone 2.8 we have focused on the scheduler and with additional Crystal Reports support.

New Functionality

• Send Report Output Directly to a Printer - With scheduled jobs you now have the option to have the output from the report to be sent directly to a printer.  The user can still have the output sent to the other output options, such as email. 
• Send Report Output to a FTP location - With scheduled jobs you now have the option to have the output from the report to be sent to a FTP location.  The user can still have the output sent to the other output options, such as email.
• Run scheduled jobs on their own thread - Scheduled jobs are now run a separate thread, which will increase performance of the reports 
• Added parameter ranges to RSExpress - RSExpress is the Ripplestone feature that allows reports to be run from outside of Ripplestone.  The feature has been enhanced to allow parameter ranges to be passed into the report.
• Added hyperlinks as a document type - Added the ability to have a hyperlink to be added to the document folder.
• Changed Database Connections - Allow the same server name to be used for both Dynamic Pick Lists and Crystal Report connections.
• Assign the Administrator role to new Folders - When a new folder is added the Adminitrator role is automatically added to the new folder.  This allows the new folder to be displayed in the list of folders on the home page as soon as it's added.
• Added FireFox support - FireFox now displays the pages correctly.
• Added new skins - Two new skins were added to the system.  You can change skins from the System Setup and Configuration page.
